“This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to……

“We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga. The home is so clean with gorgeous decor and charming history throughout. The bed and linens are top notch. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and we loved the puppy dogs. Breakfast is perfect. “Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans une double chambre, c'était spacieux car nous avons bénéficié d'une véranda qui connectait les 2 chambres, la literie était au top, la chambre propre et bien équipée, le petit déjeuner copieux et varié ”

“A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay”
