“This was our first trip to the Algarve and we booked at the hotel based on the very positive reviews. Our booking was for a “standard room” which turned out to be a handicapped/accessible room. Not an issue since the room was spotlessly clean although it was apparent it needed some TLC given the sections of vinyl flooring that were delaminating and the grate in the shower drain that kept dislodging. Other aspects were a bit telling like poor internet connectivity, chintzy towels, lack of wash……

“It’s a beautiful property with amazing access to the beach, but the rooms are old. It needs refurbishment, and it needs a lot of love. (to be honest it is not a five star room to any standards.) however the staff is amazing. Amazing breakfast the most beautiful view you can imagine and private access to the beach.
