“The beach view was great, but the beach itself was about a 5-minute walk away, and you have to pay extra for the beach chairs. The hotel has very limited parking, so if you arrive later in the day, there’s a good chance you won’t get a spot. If that happens, you may simply be told to “try again tomorrow,” which was very disappointing.”

“Clean room and pool area etc, front desk was great and friendly! As for the some other issues was around 4:00 in after by pool side they ran out of seafood and meat to eat so you where very limited what you could eat. The lady behind the counter was rude to my husband and I . The beds were okay . No comforter just a sheet to cover you , so my husband went to the car to get the blankets we brought to cover us at night . Great walking distance down to the town for supper and tour around people……

“This property is quite & efficient. I say quite because it is probably geared around older people or young couples with small children.”

“We are a family of 4 and we had a large room with a double bed and a separate portion with 2 single beds which was fantastic and prob the biggest balcony. This resort was immaculate and rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. The staff at the reception and the restaurants were really helpful. The courtesy bus to the beach was amazing too so no need to walk 20 minutes to the beach. The only small negatives were that there was no iron in the facility (but they offered a paid laundry service) and……

“It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel. I saw other reviews mention the hotel……

“Everything about this hotel was perfect for us.”

“The apartment were big and nice decorate. Parking was easy to find but we were in low season. The only thing I think is important to mention is that after confirming the booking, I received a request to pay via an external link. Although it turned out to be legitimate and safe, it did cause me a few days of stress as I wasn’t sure at first. I contacted Hotels.com support several times and also emailed the resort directly to confirm. That said, everything was resolved, and we will definitely be……

“Amazing hotel. The best in Alvor at a completely different level. Superb pool area no rushing for sunbeds and pools x 3 are amazing. Right on the beach front this place is and the most chilled experience for a holiday. Will definitely return.”

“Super belle place, le personnel est sympathique. Le plancher aurait pu etre plus propre et c'est un peu vieillot mais confo. Il faut payer pour profiter d'un parasole a la piscine sur le bord de la mer :( Les 2 restos sur le domaine sont tres bien et le marché est un bon dépanneur”
