"Great service the people there are amazing organised my cruise, my bus and when i stupidly left my passport there they sent it to me on a bus so i wouldn’t miss my flight. I’ve traveled for three weeks in Vietnam and this is by far the best! Would recommend and if I go back to Ha long bay I will always choose to stay here! "

He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. "Great view from room, but this hotel charged for every little thing, including water for the room, pool tables in lounge, other games for kids, hotel shuttle to/from town. Need to leave a deposit in order to charge to the room at all. Overcharging for room service. Only one restaurant open at a time. Lights that wouldn't turn off in one room - staff solved the problem by cutting the wire to the light altogether. Not all that many options for hotels on Cat Ba, so this looked good comparatively, but it did not live up to the rating. "

"Everything was fine with my stay. However, I booked for 5 nights but my stay was cut short and I only was able to stay for 3 nights. It is their slow season and the hotel looked to be less than half full. So they were NOT going to lose any revenue from my cancellation as the room would not have been booked anyway. When I asked for any type of compensation as in a refund I was told their policy is to not issue any refunds. Not even a company credit for a future use. So I'm done with this company."
