Awful, dirty hotel and rude staff

Check-in process slow - took half an hour to get checked in and we were the only customers. Very unfriendly staff, especially on the front desk. Room was dirty with stains on the sheets. The toilet in one of our rooms didn’t flush. The air conditioning unit was so loud that we had to switch it off and it then made a clanking sound as if there was an animal inside it. Hot stuffy room - filthy windows. No towels, soap or tea/coffee (there was a kettle). We asked for bottled water and they arrived with no seal so obviously take straight from the tap so undrinkable. General area like a war zone - half expected Kate Aidie to pop her head up it was so bad.

Bed bugs was the final straw!

This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in where the beds were full of bed bugs! Killing them left blood stains all over the sheets. This is after they did not have my Hotels.com reservation...after they found it and put me in the wrong room and had to move me after an hour (paid for AC but room had no AC)...I am not happy. :(

Une journée à Vasco

Juste une nuit pour se rapprocher de l'aéroport, mais en fait le quartier était plutôt agréable pour s'y promener. L'hôtel est très correct et le service diligent.

Good Value for Money Deal in vasco

Stayed for just a night at the end of a business trip. Though I previously read some -ve reviews regarding the service of this hotel, yet luckily I didn't have any such misfortune. But then I usually don't use room service or other additional services. So I'm not in a position to comment on it. WiFi is rather fast for a free connection. Room was very clean and well-attended to. Hard beds might feel tad small and uncomfortable for people with larger physique. Location was both very convenient and inconvenient :-) If you are arriving very late by train or are leaving at odd hours, just a few metres to Vasco station is very convenient. But it is -as Vasco generally is - away from all hotspots of Goa. But necessities and conveniences are all nearby. Particularly recommended for budget-conscious short stay guests. In a generally over-priced Goa, this is a great valie for money deal.

Bad all around. Not as advertised at all

Bed was infested with bedbugs. No hot water, no cable, noisy, thin mattress, and when I entered the room, no toilet paper, no pillows on the bed, no coffee station. It's supposed to be a deluxe room I am covered in bed bug bites. It was the worst night I spent in a hotel. It's on a noisy street.

Juste moyen

Chambre basique dans une ville sans vrai charme mais à proximité de l'aéroport. Le personnel est très gentil mais pas très aidant. La chambre était correcte pour le prix mais l'entretien était insuffisant et les draps sales.

Not a pleasant experience

Not a pleasant experience. Please do not order anything from room service or visit their in house restaurant. Food takes an inordinate amount of time to come. We ordered lunch and the waiter kept saying it will take another 25 min until we lost patience at the 45 minute mark. Then we had to shout at the waiter, talk to the manager and literally stand in the kitchen while they prepared our order. In the evening we ordered toast and that took 40 minutes to arrive. Really quite terrible. The rooms while clean have ants. Biscuits placed in a closed container on the table soon filled up with ants. I also saw a small cockroach on the table. I would not stay here again.

OK economy hotel if you need to be near the airpor

The Citadel is an "OK" Hotel by the standards of lower priced hotels in India. The beds were clean, though hard (as is typical in India) and the room was what I'd call "broom clean". Not awful, just don't look too close. The drains were slow, but there was a working shower (cold water only) which is not a given in Indian hotels. There is a consistently unpleasant odor in the lobby, but the room smelled fine. The hotel restaurant was closed for renovations when we were there, so I can't comment on that.

Never again

This hotel is one of those places that you want to avoid touching anything. That is, the floors were filthy and hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was equally disgusting. We tried the shower but it didn't work. Barely a trickle came out of the faucet. There's no wifi available in the hotel, including the lobby. For the price we paid we expected a little more.

Good Hotel But Disappointing Room Service

Every thing was Quite Good but Except one thing we faced very bad experience lackness of Room Service in Time, After ordering the food we have called up them for 5 times asking about food. With this issue we faced problem that one our friend was a diabetic patient.

Good AC and wifi

I booked this hotel because I was travelling as a female alone and wanted to have somewhere organised before I arrived. While it is not on the beach, it is only a few minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt very spoiled being in an AC room, and the wifi was the fastest I've had in India so far! The room was spacious and comfortable. For a more social experience for lone travellers, it is probably better to stay closer to the beach, but this was a lovely place to spend my first few nights in Palolem. It would be great for people travelling in couples or families.

Decent hotel at a decent price.

Hotel rooms are decent, but not all stuffs were in working condition. The staff did forget to put hot water kettles, change shower heads etc and these were did after we checked in. The room service is not a professional service you would expect, but just normal people. But all in all the rooms were decent.

レストランがありましたが、ルームサービスをとりました。時間もさほどかからず、到着。 fish special curryと、chicken hot and sourをorderしました。とても美味しく辛く量も多く、残すのが忍びない思いでした。タクシーも問題なく頼めました。 TVはチャンネルも多く、離陸前は過ごしやかったです。ただ、隙間から虫が入りACはかなりの音でうるさかったので、Non−ACでよかったです。
