"Lush green and very clean and well maintained. Parking in shaded trees so our car didn’t get hot. Had fun using our translator app to communicate with the bar tender"
"The building doesn't have an elevator, so if you're carrying large, heavy suitcases and you're given a room on the top floor, it's very, very difficult. The area where it's located is ugly and feels unsafe. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they'll help you find a taxi."

"We had an upgrade. Big room for two people. The room had the balcony with bottle of beer that seems like an ashtray. Inside the room was clean and had a free bottles of water. Staff were so kind and helpful."
"The view of the sea was incredible at every meal I ate at the hotel. Even more so the staff was so nice and helped me plan a trip to old Naples and told me what to see when the tour I wanted to go on was sold out. I would highly recommend!"

"Our room (suite) was delightful with 2nd room. This grand old, slightly bedraggled, historic villa is what it is… a cherished experience to stay in. The 25-foot ceilings with art in the medallion center, the massive furniture, the comfy bed, the modern bathroom — this capped off 10 days in Italy with a better sense of 18th century history.
And we enjoyed the pool too!"
"My husband and I stayed in Ercolano at Villa Durante for 2 nights on our vacation through Italy. Therese was a wonderful hostess - so kind, gracious and thoughtful. The property is a beautifully restored 18th century villa within 10 minutes of Herculaneum. The train station is a 15-minute walk, and there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
After visiting Naples for dinner, I was glad that we stayed outside of the city. Ercolano feels safe and the people are so welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our time there."
