Large new studio in very old alpine chalet facing Mont Blanc
On the ground floor of a typical Beaufortain alpine chalet, over 300 years old, the 46 m2 studio has been recently fitted out with all modern comforts. A 140cm bed and a convertible sofa (excellent 140cm bed). The kitchen is large and very well equipped. A raclette machine, fondue pot and tartiflette dish are available for your evenings out.
The accommodation has an exceptional orientation, overlooking the Beaufort valley, facing Mont Blanc to the east and the sunrise. A complete change of scenery, as close to nature as possible. The chalet is nestled on the edge of the forest in a vast alpine pasture. Peace and quiet are guaranteed.
However, the amenities of the Bisanne 1500 ski resort are very close at hand (1.5 km): mini-market, sports store, restaurants. A recent gondola links Les Saisies and the Espace Diamant (6 resorts up to Praz sur Arly, 192 km of pistes). Frequent shuttles run between Bisanne 1500 and the resort of Les Saisies, famous for its magnificent Nordic ski area (120 km of runs and 1992 Olympic Games). There's also an aquatic center and a wide range of activities (climbing, yoga ....).
Near the chalet, you'll find trails for hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing (equipment available). Paragliding starts just above the chalet at Signal de Bisanne.
The owners are often upstairs, available if needed, and offer Qi Gong sessions in the morning to get you going, or in the evening to relax.
Access to the chalet is from the departmental road on a 700m carriage road (see Google map), which is very practicable but requires equipment in snowy weather. Chains are mandatory in winter.
