"The pictures for this property are very misleading. The place is very outdated and there’s a horrible smell that comes from the shower. On day of checkin I was sent an email outside of the hotels.com site asking for a deposit even though my booking was paid up front. It was a little bit sketchy. "We had a really pleasant stay at the Grand Magic Hotel and overall felt it offered excellent value for money. The facilities were very good, and the price was much more reasonable compared to the Disney Hotels we’ve stayed at previously. The shuttle bus service worked perfectly fine for us. We were a bit worried after reading some negative reviews beforehand, but we didn’t have any issues at all and found it convenient for getting to and from the parks. Breakfast was okay — definitely more of a three-star standard. It was quite basic and the coffee wasn’t great, but still enough to start the day. One thing we wouldn’t recommend is the buffet dinner. It felt overpriced at €35 per adult (or €39 including one drink), and didn’t really offer good value for the quality. Overall, though, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable stay close to the parks without paying Disney hotel prices."
