“This was a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay. We appreciated the 3 bed option. The cost was very reasonable and the full kitchen was an added bonus.”

“This hotel gets very mixed reviews, which seem to me to reflect guests' differing expectations. The good points. The people who run it are incredibly nice and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are a bit tired and old, but nobody should be surprised by that. They are spotlessly clean, very quiet, and surprisingly cool during the heatwave in June 2026. The hotel is very convenient for the Goethe Theatre. The not so good points. You have to phone them to unlock the door and check……

“Sauberes Zimmer, sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal. Tolle Parkplätze.”

“Nice and Clean Hotel but Wifi some times not work well.”

“Sehr hilfsbereites Personal! Das Zimmer schlicht aber sauber. Frühstück in Ordnung.”

“Room cleaning service was a no-show. (nor was there a please do not disturb/ make up room) sign there for use on the door. Whereas the room was okay clean, the trip to the room, w/o elevator, was a long trek along always dirty, worn pathways. It's difficult to conceive of how or why a hotel would leave its extensive carpeting un-vacuumed. As noted, we dealt with two quite nice staff, one of whom was also competent. Other staff, including the Manager, were incredibly rude, curt, and……
