“We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Cabins in the Woods. I rated it a four for cleanliness because it is a cabin after all. Didn’t expect anything else. Such a charming, comfortable place with plenty of privacy. Ed in the office was so friendly and kind. We will definitely be back! ”

“The property is pristine and beautiful. Everything we needed was present including directions. It was walking distance to town. We hiked a lot and of course Stowe has many places to do that. We all agreed that it was the nicest place we've rented through VRBO. My communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. When we go back, this will be the 1st property we'll look for. “Beautiful cabin. Spotless. More than enough room for two people. Never seen so many stars at night. Did some hiking and relaxing. Fire pit every night. There is a hardware store in Hardwick if the firewood is damp. Not going to have much cell service in surrounding areas so plan accordingly. Wick at the cabin though. Would love to bring family here.”

“The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind.……

“The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and……

“A lamp between the sofa and the love seat would have been appreciated. My laptop would not connect to the modem in the unit, so I did not have internet while I was there. We did connect with your tech team and the were great in trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing worked to do so. Thankfully, my husband was able to connect right away.”
