The Hatchery House is a one level home with spacious deck. It also hosts a large outdoor patio area with built in fireplace. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's location is close to the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery and Sleeping Lady Resort and Snowy Owl Theater. When staying at the Hatchery House you are centrally located for many unforgettable experiences from hiking to theater to just strolling through the streets of Leavenworth. It is 2.5 miles from downtown Leavenworth which offers many dining, shopping and wine tasting options. The Icicle Road area is full of recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, rock climbing and the Icicle Gorge Trail.
We are in a quiet neighborhood and look forward to sharing our home with guests who value a family atmosphere. If you are looking for a party place, we suggest you look into other accommodations. A friendly reminder that we do NOT allow pets.

Awesome Family Friendly Vacation Property

Our family LOVED this property. It was close to the city but far enough out for privacy. The owner has anything you could need stocked in the home. Cant wait to book this again.

2 day Getaway in Paradise

It had been 8 years since our family has gotten to come back to spend time with family, this VRBO was just what we were looking for to enjoy some time in Leavenworth before heading to our cabin in Chelan. Perfect place for a weekend getaway

Margaret’s place is always clean, welcoming, and perfect for our annual weekend getaway. We love the location because of its proximity to town, trailheads, and Icicle Creek. Margaret is easy to communicate with and even leaves a welcome basket of food in the refrigerator.

The Hatchery House = Perfect get-a-way in Leavenworth

This is one of the best vacation homes me and my friends have ever rented. The host made it a home away from home. All the reviews are true. You have everything you need. The Best Winter Wonderland Stay

We can’t say enough about the Hatchery House, Margaret has thought of it all! The outdoor fireplace, the hot tub, the bedding, the decor and all the personal touches makes it like home . Can’t wait to come back in July and explore all the summer adventures!

Wonderful place, incredible scenery

We loved staying at Hatchery House. The location is amazing if you like hiking and nature. The beds are great; there is plenty of space; and it is very well equipped. There is everything you need. We did quite a bit of cooking and really appreciated all the amenities. The place is nicer than it looks in the photos.

This home was so cozy and decorated so nicely. They had all the amenities, and then some, to make our stay great. My husband enjoyed the hot tub too! The rain prevented us from using the outdoor fireplace, but next time it will be a must.

Cozy winter get away

Wonderful house! Had everything we needed including sleds for the kids to use & the outdoor fire pit with supplies provided so we were ready to go for winter s'mores. A dream vacation home

This house has been everything I could dream of and more! To start with I love how clean and spotless everything was, how great condition everything is and how well designed all rooms are ! The kitchen is filled with all you need ! Location is fantastic, surrounded by mountains this house is pleasantly located in a quiet area couple of minutes from Leavenworth main street I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Leavenworth area !

House was even better than expected. Unlike some vacation rentals being sparsely equipped, Margaret’s house is decked out (kitchen well stocked with nice pots and pans (not second hand or old stuff), games, plush towels, even calming pillow spray next to the bedsides, every part is this house has been well thought through. Really recommend staying here! Not too mention Margaret is easy to work with and responsive!

Magical getaway

The house was perfect! The host thought of everything! Beautiful, clean& cozy furnishings, Gorgeous decor and a Christmas tree! The house had literally everything we needed! And a delicious welcome gift of fudge! It snowed over 13 inches overnight, and they were there plowing the driveway for us and we didn’t even ask! The Hatchery house is located just a quick drive to the village and to be honest a perfect distance to get away from the crowds and relax. When we come back we definitely will stay longer than 2 nights to enjoy this magical place!

Magical and comfortable stay in Leavenworth

Margaret, her husband, and her home are wonderful! My husband, my in-laws, and 13 month old daughter stayed at her home for the weekend and we had such a great time. The home is wonderfully remodeled with exceptional attention to detail - every creature comfort has been taken care of and Margaret has thought of her guests through every step of the way. The kitchen is well stocked, perfect for staying in and staying safe to make meals at home together. Hot Tub is large, private, and very clean. Margaret even went so far to put some toys out for my daughter and set up a high chair. The whole stay really went beyond my (high) expectations, we will be back again!

Hidden treasure for families

My family and I travel every year and rent homes all over the world, when we decided to visit Leavenworth this year we knew we wanted lots of outdoor space for our 5yo daughter and much needed living space for the adults. We are so grateful to have found this lovely home. Margaret has been nothing short of greatness from beginning to end. When I asked about bringing a kiddie pool, she offered to get one for easier travel for us. These gestures were greatly appreciated. The home is so clean, nicely decorated and all the extra towels, linens and blankets through out the house was so useful. My parents couldn't stop mentioning how lovely the view and hospitality has been. Thank you Margaret for making this long awaited trip after Covid a very easy and memorable one.
