“The property was very clean, as advertised and had everything we needed. Orange lake provided opportunity for the kids to fish swim and play and we were able to make a quick drive to lubec to the state park. Great mini (3 night) vacation. Patsy and Ken were great hosts.”

“Can’t say enough good things about this house. It was perfect. Every detail was thought through from the abundance of cozy blankets to the cute fireplace heaters in every room. The house was super clean and just perfect. We only had two adults staying a few nights for work travel (pretending it was a girls week lol) but I could see it comfortably fitting lots of people as there was so much space! I wish it was warmer out so I could have taken advantage of the outside spaces. Hope I get to come……

“The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). The kayaks and canoes were great, and the fire pit was the highlight at the end of virtually every day—a mere 20-feet from water’s edge. A wonderful spot, with incredibly responsive hosts”

“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked……

“The property itself sits above the lake with gorgeous views and deck. It has a very nice open area in the kitchen and living room spaces. The bedrooms and bathrooms are good sizes. There is a house next door with no privacy which does not show in the listing, however the neighbors were extremely nice but had a lot of activity at the house and visitors during our week. The house itself, needs some work, looks like they were in the middle of a refurb or something, the steps were unfinished and……

“9 of us came from out of the country to shoot some photos of the stars out near Acadia National Park; Connie's house was lovely and a good place to call home base. Only thing we were not too keen on were the sleeping situations, as some of us had to double up on the beds, but the listing says that 11 are able to sleep comfortably. A more accurate listing of the available beds would be ideal, but it was only a minor inconvenience that we worked through. Connie was very helpful and eager to help,……
