“We arrived on a Sunday evening, at twilight, after traveling 380 miles by motorcycle. Lights were on over the driveway to greet us. Once inside, we were glad to see a very clean and inviting place to relax for the week. Our host had been communicating with us for a few days prior to fill us in on grocery stores and dining locations near by. The hot tub was our saving grace and recovery space, after each of 6 days of riding around the Black Hills. We did experience a few gremlins with a couple of……

“The rental was centrally located for our planned sightseeing. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. And a pleasant surprise to see that the counter height table and chairs in the dining area had been replaced with a traditional table and seating. The house was very clean and the beds were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay at Lost Buffalo Lodge again. ”

It was high enough in the mountains for beautiful views, peaceful sunrises and nature sightings, but close enough to walk to the grocery store, etc. We hope to come back in the future!”

It was close enough to get anywhere we wanted within an hour but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. From booking through the end of our stay it was the most enjoyable experience I've had of all the locations I've rented through Vrbo. Communication was top notch. House was spotless and very well stocked. Location was beautiful. I could not recommend enough. ”
