“There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.”

“The hosts Phillip and Dee could not do enough for us, they were very friendly. The room was lovely and clean and refills of tea, coffee, biscuits etc provided outside the rooms for guests to help themselves to. The breakfasts we had were amazing, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. There’s a bus to Whitby just near the house and many other places to visit nearby.”

“A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”

“It is a fantastic place in a great location. Upon entry, we were impressed; obviously we had made a great choice. The house was clean & freshly prepared. We were there to ride the Flying Scotsman, so parking was not an issue & it was a 2-minute walk from the station (up a cobble path). The village has more than we realized. The Co-op closes at 4PM.
