“Didn’t realize I was staying in the basement of a home where the Host family was so inconsiderate to the amount of noise that they were creating by stomping around for 3 plus hour on my first. Asked that they be more considerate and they stopped stomping around for about 20 minutes and the it continue until 11:30pm. The smells of the basement area were a little over whelming when I checked in and I was able to open a window. Sorry I’d couldn’t take the lack of consideration from the host……

“The location of this rental is great and communication with the host was awesome. We had a couple issues on the front end of our trip that he was very responsive and helpful with. There were lots of really thoughtful extras that we didn't anticipate but definitely appreciated. There was lots of space for our group of 10. The downside was that the listing wasn't clear that 4 of the twin beds are pop up frames with thin mattresses. They worked for the kids but it would have been more problematic……

“A fantastic place on a wonderful lake. The fishing was good while we were there. Be aware that there are about a hundred stair steps from the main level down to the dock. A good workout.”

“Well, the room was clean. Many things were very outdated. We got there early and we’re told that the room should be ready within an hour and that they sent us a text. We were trying to find stuff to fill our time which wasn’t a big deal. However, we never received a text and when we went up to the counter at the actual check-in time, they said oh sorry about that but will need your credit card and drivers license. I said I already gave it when we were here earlier and then she finally was able……

“Overall, very nice stay. AC in room was a little musty. Had that stale air odor.”

“Our stay was very enjoyable. We enjoyed the breakfast, hot tub, and the overall cleanliness. The ony issue that had as seniors was with shower. The tub did not have any slip guards and the walls did have a grip, but we will not hesitate to stay with you again.”
