Hotel Immlauer Brau is a great place to stay while visiting Salzburg. It is within walking distance to Old Town. Mass transit is also very close to the hotel if you prefer to use that to get to Old Town. The train station is within walking distance of this hotel as well. The staff here were so friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions on how to get to places. They were very helpful when a situation occurred with our reservation, they were so kind to resolve the issue so it was more comfortable for us. The rooms were quite a bit larger than normal European hotel rooms which made our stay extra comfortable as we stayed for over a week. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, location and cleanliness.

We had a lovely family room for 4 - and had plenty of room. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The wellness centre with pool /sauna etc was really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

The check in process was easy but the front desk staff were not very friendly. Our room was nice but I wish we had better bathroom linens. We had issues with the lack of service at the rooftop bar. On average, it took 15 minutes just to get a beverage. They were clearly understaffed.

This boutique hotel was just as charming inside as it looks outside. The location was unbeatable. I know other reviews spoke about hearing the church bells every morning at 7am. I am a light sleeper and our room faced the church, I did not hear the church bells any morning. The windows are doubled, you can open them or keep them closed. We visited late September, the weather was a little cooler so we kept the windows open during the day to get some air flow. There is no AC in the rooms but they do supply a fan that has good air flow. All of the staff were very helpful. They have complimentary coffee and cake. We got a basic room, just a king bed, not a suite and it was very spacious for us. This is located in a pedestrian zone so there are no cars on the street. The street is full of shops, restaurants and bars. Old town across the river is maybe an 8 minute walk. We fell in love with Salzburg and if we ever visit again we will definitely stay here! Can’t recommend it enough.
