I love the location and vibe of the hotel. If you are going to Broadway it is a perfect location. The room is tiny but clean. The $187 non refundable fee was too much.

If you’ve ever wanted to spend $300 for a hotel room with a bathroom you’d have to sit side saddle on the toilet to use, this is the hotel for you. If you like standing sideways in the shower since it’s too small to stand the normal way in, this hotel is for you. If you like other people’s hair in your bathroom sink when you arrive, this hotel is for you. On top of those issues, the bathroom had 2 bath towels and that was it. No washcloths, no hand towels nothing. It also had 2 shampoo pumps in the shower and no body wash or conditioner. The bathroom was so small that I had to exit the bathroom to dry off after my shower. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because the location was prime for going to see shows on Broadway. If you’re looking for comfort, go somewhere else.

A perfectly fine option if all you need is a place to sleep in between the hustle and bustle of a NYC trip. There's not a lot extra that it offers, especially when a resort fee was thrown in that I had no idea what it was about. Also hated that I had to pay this at check in and not as part of my entire booking on Expedia - this limited my personal spending budget on the actual trip to NYC when I like to pre book hotels in advance and get that cost out of the way. The experience with the staff was just fine. I do wish we got a smile at least once or any sort of friendly demeanour but hey, who wouldn't be burnt out working in New York? Rooms were clean but I've been in much cleaner hotels. Bathroom could've used some extra love.

More like a hostel than a hotel! The deluxe room was not very deluxe and very basic … small and outdated … bathroom was grubby with cracks in the bath and paint peeling off the back of the dirty door, grout was black around bath and toilet was dirty … nowhere to store cases or clothes properly … no water or glasses available in rooms … WiFi was intermittent …window view of air conditioning units not NYC! The bathroom ceiling had a bulge and leaked but nothing was done even after we reported it … asked for a room upgrade as we are platinum tier and reception said there weren’t any when we knew there were upgrades to suites … asked for a late checkout for all the inconvenience and given an extra hour! So would not recommend unless you are of school or college age as there were plenty of youngsters there eating takeaway food in the reception area and hanging around… luggage storage also cost us $3 per item which we didn’t expect!

Rude staff! I have stayed here before and it’s been okay- not great, but after this last stay, I will definitely not be coming back. Unfortunately I got very ill during my most recent visit and I called guest services to ask if I had some things delivered from the drug store could they be brought up to my room. They said yes. When my items showed they had been delivered, I called back down to guest services and they connected me with the front desk. The person who answered literally told me “nope” when I asked about my items being brought up to my room. She was beyond rude and told me it was against policy and didn’t care what guest services had told me. I couldn’t believe how rude she was- turned me off to this hotel for good.

Location is awesome if you’re looking for convenience to subways, central park, broadway shows and going out. Room was tiny, warm, ac did not work properly and neither did tv. Elevators constantly busy and full. Overall not great if you’re staying in however perfect for just going to bed and enjoying the city.

Mold on bathroom grout, chipped paint and holes in woodwork. NO amenities at all, not even plastic cups. No ice bucket. For two, only receive 2 bath and l handtowel, no washcloths. AC in first room didn't work 1x2 foot hole in the drywall, and front desk very reluctant to give me a new room. Bed comfortable and nice shower. There is NO WAY this is a 4 star property, maybe 1.5 stars.

The AC in the room did not work, multiple calls down to the front desk and it still did not wor. On one of the calls I was told by maitnenance it was too close to the end of their shift so it was not their problem... The radiator heat however would not turn off leaving the room a balmy 80 degrees the whole trip.
