First time visiting. Great place to learn!
The origin of the Venetians series was an invitation from chihuly to Lino Tagliapietra , The Italian Master , to blow glass inspired by Venetian art deco prototypes. The venetians are defined by a baroque aesthetic of exuberance that is deeply rooted in the venetian tradition. This is especially true of the colours, which owe as much to the extraordinary colour combinations in the renaissance paintings of Titian, Veroneseand other Venetian Masters as they do to the glass produced in Murano.#roadtrip
The remodel still amazes even after a few years!
