“We had a family room and the additional bedroom really helped with space. The accommodation is very well located as it is on a quiet road, but also very handy for the Arlington Row as well as a lovely pub called the Catherine Wheel. The food by Ricardo was lovely. The granola was a particular favourite amongst the family. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate returning in future!”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, it's easy to access the city center and there are great cafes and pubs nearby. It's a self check-in hotel, but the procedure is very easy, we had no problems with that. Also the staff is very nice and kind and it was easy to send them a message and they've replied very quickly. The room was very nice and clean, it had great water pressure in the shower and the bed was comfortable. The only downside for us was that the front door to the property and……

“The hotel is definetely a bit shabby and down-at-heel, but it is clean and the staff friendly. Although it was a shared bathroom this was not a problem. The shower was surprisingly strong and as hot as i needed. The room was small but the matress on the bed was very comfortable. If you're happy with cheap but clean then I'd recommend it. I'd stay again”

“Beautiful property with a lovely bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we didnt get chance to eat there but would love to revist again. Staff were friendly and put on a really nice breakfast spread (continental). Room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated with a nice wetroom-style bathroom. 100% would stay again!”

“We stopped here as it is very convenient to the M40. We loved the charm of the building and the decor of the room we had was tasteful and beautiful ( Stag). Our ground floor room had a lovely open outlook over fields. Large bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which we really enjoyed although the hotel was very quiet. The owner could not have been more attentive. Lovely stay and good value for money.”
