“The Mercantile is a recently renovated property, so everything is fresh and new. Rooms are a tad tight, but my understanding is that is to be expected. There isn’t much of a desk, and someone made a poor decision to glue their in-room phone right in the center of the little desk area there is. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are a little tough. Rooms were soundproofed so you don’t hear much outside, and they have great climate control/ air conditioning. Breakfast service could use a bit of……

“The check-in staff did not proactively mentioned that the access to our room was different from other rooms, until we could not use the lift after we tapped our access card. Afterwards, we were susprised to learn that there was no lift access to our room. The room would be more comfortable if there are more than 1 chair available, considering there are ample amount of space. It was also quite noisy facing the main street while windows needed to keep open for ventilation with no air con……
