“Hey there, just got back from a trip to Ecuador and I have to let you know about this place "Yumbo Spa & Resort". You have to check it out. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and re-connect with your love one. It sits in the middle of the Andean rain-forest about an hour out of Mindo. The grounds are beautiful and filled with many exotic birds, trees and animals. The owner, Pedro and his staff and family are the best. “One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host.
