“The good: Nice hotel and lovely attentive staff. The bad: Probably my incorrect expectations but was expecting room AC for a 4* The ugly: Brave the unlit path, if you dare, to get to the Chineham shopping centre. No fault of the hotel but Hampshire County Council should sort this out as its an accident waiting to happen! ”

“Very poor experience. I have travelling 3 or 4 times every year for the past 20 years. Except the staff in the front desk and health club showed me welcoming. The waitresses in the restuant made sounds and faces behind me during the buffer breakfast. The waitress even did not know I could order and pay online during dinner. Are they trying to embarass the asian faces? Also smelly and stain in the guest room, no refigerator and safe, what kind of experience could not expected.”

“someone else’s hair in the shower, shower overflow and leaked. Pool overcrowded with kids. Breakfast poor quality - had to ask 3 time for a drink”

“First night ( Saturday night) it was so noisy until midnight:( . Second night is much better. You book 2 nights, they don’t clean your room next day:( Overall it’s good place to stay.”

“Really nice settling, lovely country side. Hotel itself is desperately in need of a refurbishment. It was a nice hotel fairly clean great staff. Just very run down. I would stay again and definitely hasn’t put me off ”
