“I nearly cancelled my stay here, with my 10 year old, when I read the recent reviews leading up to our stay. But my son loves swimming and water parks, so I thought we’d give it a go and not expect too much; we were only staying for 3 nights. It far exceeded my expectations and we had a great time here. “Wow, what an absolutely fabulous place! It’s exactly what we hoped for - peace and tranquility. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. The most instagram worthy place I have ever been to! Of note for those planning a trip, we stayed in the ‘low season’ (I.e. July/August). “Riad Diamant le Zaraba is a bit out of the way--half an hour from the train station or airport, and almost just as far from the medina where many visitors to Marrakech like to spend time and sightsee. “The riad is located in Imlil with amazing view of the Atlas mountains from the terrace, the room was very clean and cosy. Any concerns were dealt with high professionalism and huge generosity by the manager - Abdou. All the staff were amazing ( thank you to Ibrahim for cooking the most delicious tagine and soup ) and the Riad was best located as starting point for trekking. One of the best places we stayed in Morocco. Hugely recommended. ”

“I came with my husband for honey moon, the staff were amazing they made up the room for us with flowers and nice decoration for our arrival, Sana was really nice and helpful, and all staff without exception. “Situated in the foothills of The High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views towards the snow capped Mountains beyond the wonderful manicured lawns and gardens. The hotel is built of local red sandstone and is beautifully laid out. Pool too cold in Jan but looks fabulous. Food on our visit was relatively limited choice; we stayed 1 nightwith a 40 minute drive from Marrakech (local hotel transfer 270 DAM each way) Incredibly beautiful setting - wonderful rest in the warm January sunshine. ”
