"We were greeted by the incredibly friendly owners Brian and Lesley. 6 of us stayed, perfect family accommodation. The villa was spotless, beautiful pool area and sunbeds. "A wonderful place to stay around all things farm! The manager was most informative about the farm, crops, Beja, places to eat & visit in town. He shared information on special things to do in the Algarve as we headed further south. A gracious sincere host who took time from his busy schedule to share valuable information with us. I would highly recommend a night or 2 at this lovely property. Bonus, the breakfast was a variety of fresh and delicious foods! "

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright for what we needed it for. Nothing special. We didn’t realize just how in the middle of nowhere it would be. It’s quite remote and the country roads to get there are a bit tricky to navigate at night. We were exploring comporta for the two days that we were there but it’s about a 40 min drive so if you’re thinking of exploring comporta just keep that in mind. Also, there are no doors in the bathroom which we did not enjoy. Lastly, the room itself had some things that needed fixing. For example, the bottom of the door was completely falling off and the floor which is made up of some type of cork looked like it needed a refresh - it was stained on multiple areas. The breakfast included was also just ok - the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. We got to breakfast at 10 AM so I guess if you’re an early riser it might’ve been warm but they could also invest in better equipment to keep the food warm for the rest of us that are jet lagged and not up at the crack of dawn. Overall, it was just an ok experience. "

"Beautiful oasis in the heart of the Alentejo countryside with a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the hills. Nice room, very cozy. Unpaved road leading to the resort which is manageable for the experienced driver. Much of the estate is still under construction. Fun hiking trail that was difficult to access. Property offers free use of their bikes, however all the tires need to be filled. Had an excellent meal a short drive away in Orique. Recommend this to adventure and nature lovers who want to feed the conquistador within. "
