"This place was exactly what the hubby and I needed! Peace and quiet. We went ziplining, to Glenwood Springs Adventure park, UTV tour in Leadville, and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Everything was PERFECT!"

"On the rustic side as befits the area but clean and perfect for families with extensive outdoor sitting areas on both floors. Also 2 family rooms with TVs etc. only 1/2 mile from rifle falls state park and 15 minutes to town. Tom easy to work with and easily reached if needed. "

"Pros: Spacious rooms! I loved the kitchenette in the room; everything was very clean and comfortable. Cons: The breakfast is pre-packaged desserts. Linens don’t match; odd to see a grey washcloth hanging up with all-white linens. (Nbd but it demonstrates the vibe of the place.) During breakfast, my mom observed a squabble between the front desk person and a guest regarding a coffee pot that had been designated by staff as a hot water kettle for tea (without signage). It was amusing to her; however, we had no horse in the race, so it was likely not amusing to the guest being reprimanded for making coffee. Honestly, it’s just fine; I’d stay again. A refreshing escape from the cookie-cutter hotel experience. ;)"

"We were driving from Illinois to California and needed a one night stay to get some rest and a shower. Beds were nice and firm. Room was quiet. We left at 4am so did not check out the breakfast. "
