“Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just……

“Les notes sont élevés car le rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Le prix de la chambre est compétitif par rapport aux autres hôtels. Le sauna est opérationnel. La chambre est propre et spacieuse. Un chauffage d'appoint de type électrique est dans la chambre, ceci est appréciable car les plafonds sont hauts et il ferait froid sans ces radiateurs. “We had an amazing experience in our stay at Château Picol. It is very beautiful, very well maintained and decorated with amazing antiques and art.
