“I was looking for an affordable place to stay while in Arzua and Albergue Miraiso fit the bill. Check in stops around 8pm which was an issue however since my flight was delayed and we didnt land until after 930pm. Lorenzo was so accomodating and met me there to do a late check in. He is very friendly and cordial. He seemed very genuinely interested in the guests. Helps he speaks multiple languages with all the random guests coming from the Camino. “This was a really lovely place to stay on my Camino. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to use the washing facilities in the albergue of the same name next door. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, ready for the next morning’s walk. ”

“When I went to check in the gentleman at the desk, said I did not have a reservation. Not only did I have a reservation. I had prepaid for it months ago. I had the reservation number and the payment receipt, but he didn’t care. I had to contact Expedia, who then called the hotel. The guy at the desk didn’t speak English, so Expedia had to call him back with a Spanish speaker. It eventually got all sorted out, but it took half an hour of me waiting around for it to get settled”
