不满意：清洁度
Nice house but poorly maintained
We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and this was the worst by far in terms of its cleanliness and maintenance. The floors were not clean, there was owner’s property everywhere in drawers, under the beds and even underwear in the dryer. None of the closets were available; all were locked. The oven was filthy and needed to be cleaned; there was baked-on food all over the oven.
There were no instructions available for setting the programmable thermostats and the main thermostat couldn’t be set higher than 73. Neither thermostat could be set to hold a temperature; both reverted to owner’s temperature settings twice a day.
There were many food items left in the refrigerator (there were two refrigerators), one of which was frozen up.
The deck is great with a beautiful view of Lake Travis and the dam, but is so in need of repair that we wondered if it would fall.
One of the home automation devices kept announcing that its battery was low.
Scott, the property manager was always available quickly via text and most accommodating. He was a bright spot in our experience.
All in all, we had a nice Thanksgiving with family, but we felt as if the owner had just left for a few days for us to stay there and would be back at any time. That didn’t happen, but it was an uncomfortable situation.
