“The villa was in a private garden with a wall for security and parking inside the wall. A suggestion for improvement would be to incrrase the water pressure for the outside showers as it was difficult to wash my hair in the weak stream of water. “Such a gem of a property, and exactly true to photos. I love to find unique places to stay and this choice was it! They tended to our needs quickly, and even came and cleaned and filled the pool while we were there so our boys could use it all day. The only fallback is it is 30 minutes away from Bacalar, so if you don't have plans to cook on your holiday (that was me) it is a bit of driving. But if you stock up with fruit from the road stands and some food before arriving, you will be glad……

“Began witting this while in this locale... Another restless night. This rental is located 20 meters from Hwy 307, a main route north and south on the Mexican Carribean. The road noise is/was awful. We also listened to a water pump loudly whine all night the first night. I sent the host a notice that the pumps bearing was likely going out. “Buena vista is about 30 minutes from bacalar town so not an ideal location. The house is remote and in the jungle , very rough terrain getting in there Read all the small print , the house is only enclosed from the elements in the 2 bedrooms , the rest ( which is essentially just a tiny outdoor kitchen , no living room at all ) is totally open to the elements and the MOSQUITOES!!! We arrived to check in and were eaten alive in 5 minutes. There were also many wasps , a few in the bedroom. We left……

“La propiedad no es apta si viajas con alguna mascota, las cabañas son de tamaño pequeña solo para dos personas Max, al llegar pudimos notar que la habitación no había sido refrescada, no había papel de baño, shampoo etc. La cama es acogedora y el aire acondicionado estaba en buenas condiciones pudimos descansar. No usamos la regadera la presión del agua es nula y no cuenta con agua caliente. Hay mucho que podría mejorar aunque se lo reportamos a Víctor el administrador quien amablemente nos……
