“Brilliant stay at the Alpaca Lodge! Julie was very welcoming and we arrived early but this wasnt an issue as we were able to get the keys straight away. The alpacas Lodge was cosy and had everything we needed. We loved the bingo at the Alpacas Arms and feeding the Alpacas. We will definitely be back.”

“The owner had mislaid my booking, and then the room was already occupied by someone else. Waited for an hour outside the property with minimal responses. Had to give up and find somewhere else instead.”

“We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back ”

“We were visiting family in Hull for a short, unexpected while and found this flat last minute. The location was great and we easily walked pretty much everywhere we needed in Beverley itself, and the parking spot was an added bonus for our car (though it was a tight spot, our Vauxhall Corsa just about fit). The flat was well equipped with the basics, and very comfortable, and Katie was very accommodating and a delight to talk to when we had questions. Friday through Sunday night got a bit loud……

“The owners are very nice and obviously love their garden. The house was comfortable. However with a few tweaks our stay could have been fantastic. We have pointed these out to the owners, but in particular as mentioned previously particulars should be amended to reflect that the George and Dragon is now closed.”

“Arriving to check in to have to try and contact someone via watsapp only to be given a silly excuse as to why they didnt have a room ,apparently previous guests had damaged the property is check out not 11am this should have been noted before 7pm . . The inconvenience of having to find alternative place to stay and still waiting for a refund .sorry not acceptable ”

“We were returning guests and once again we enjoyed a very comfortable stay, the house is in a quiet area, at walking distance of everything and just behind the Westwood pasture for a run. Sara was very nice and helpful in answering my questions”

“A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended……

“The Bar Lodge is wonderfully comfortable, clean and welcoming. The hosts were helpful in every way. The East Yorkshire area offers many historical and outdoor sites.”

“This is a lovely property. Nice and clean, well equipped and in beautiful grounds with lakes and wildlife. We enjoyed feeding the geese - and were allowed to see some baby chicks that had just hatched. Barbara was on hand to help with anything we needed, and had provided a leaflet with local things to do and takeaways that delivered to site. Excellent stay, we will no doubt be booking again.”

“The property was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. The house we were in was ideal for us. The house itself was really nicely finished, there was tons of space and it was in a beautiful setting. My young daughter really enjoyed going out to say hello to the chickens in the morning.”

“We booked and paid for 9 rooms at this property through VRBO. One of the team turned up at the property to find that there were no rooms - this property has not hired out rooms since October 2022. Still trying to get a refund through VRBO. Avoid at all costs!”

“We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. The lounge was spacious and the tv in the lounge and bedroom had channels and internet access for using Netflix, YouTube, etc. The lodge is tastefully decorated and very cosy. The……

“Some aspects of the property are getting tired. Grout around bath/shower in both rooms going black with mould growth (white grout with black growth spots) carpets stained and dirty just really needs some more attention on deep cleaning and it’ll be back to the standard expected of such an establishment ”

“游泳池和gym好舒服，晚上和第二日早上都有去，更衣室設備齊全，有按摩池和桑拿。 房間有點熱，但有配備額外的風扇，沒有很辛苦，感謝酒店晚上提供免費的雪條。 停車位已包在房價內，如果付費的話是£5一日。 窗台有點髒，房內也沒有內線電話，有一點不方便。但主要為了游泳池而來，而且房價便宜，整個旅程過得很不錯，前台服務很好，非常友善。 不用自助入住，有職員為客人check in。”
