Comfortable stay
The room was large & cleaned everyday. Staff was friendly & helped get the bags to the room. On checkin there was only 1 towel & 1 water in the room but after a phone call housekeeping quickly brought the 2nd. Tishan is an excellent front desk rep. Super friendly, thorough & helpful. My booking said free breakfast which they don't do anymore but he honored it & put a note in our reservation so it wouldn't be an issue at checkout, and it wasn't. There was a light burned out in the closet/dressing area & it was fixed without ne even mentioning it. Pool towels are exchanged daily in the room or out at the pool. The only issue with the room was the standup shower had no hot water but it didn't matter bc there was also a tub with a shower. There's great water pressure in the bathroom. The big issue is the staff in the Veranda restaurant at breakfast; they're very passive aggressive so they can be nasty one minute but super friendly the next. It's annoying bc you don't know how you'll be treated day to day or even minutes to minute during breakfast. It's weird. You don't get that from any other department in the hotel. We'r didn't like the menu at fisherman's wharf restaurant so we didn't try it. Serendipity restaurant next door is very good. Nice staff & delicious food. Hotel parking is on the street but there's always somewhere to park. The gym seems to be the local gym. It appeared to have nice equipment but it's always full of locals. Checkout was fast, friendly & efficient.
