Alfred Street is a romantic Georgian one bedroom flat on the first floor of a Bath stone terrace. It is a light and airy space that combines contemporary furniture with antique dark wood surrounds. It is conveniently located in the centre of Bath on an historic and quiet cul-de-sac. Awarded 4 star gold by the Tourist Board.

There is an open-plan kitchen and living room with huge floor to ceiling Georgian windows and hardwood flooring throughout. A fold down dining table with seating for up to 4 enjoys views across to The famous Assembly Rooms. A comfortable leather sofa is positioned by the decorative fire-place, with a Smart TV and Stereo and Internet Access. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine/ dryer.

Three wide steps of varying depths lead you up to bright and pretty bedroom with big windows, double bed and freestanding wardrobe, plus a separate en-suite shower room. The bedroom can be closed off, creating a peaceful and intimate space. A bathroom with free standing bath, w.c. and sink is located off the lounge by the front entrance to the property.

Perfect Placement

We were very happy with our stay in this authentic 200 year old apartment right on the edge of all the spots you want to visit in Bath. You can easily walk to all the interesting sights and restaurants yet you are not being in the middle of the noise. The high ceilings and huge windows in the living room give a great view of your historic surroundings. And the modern kitchen galley is well equipped and provides all the convenience you need. The shower was small but modern. The bed was fine but ready to be replaced by a more luxurious mattres. Huge closets. We would stay here again!

Very good location, enjoyable flat

I probably seem a bit harsh in my comments but I am a landlord too but in the US, and I would have had to fix the problems I'm describing, and I'm only trying to be objective. I noticed a lot of black mold and peeling paint around the window frames in the bedroom and in the tile grout in the shower. Many people are allergic to that mold and suffer. I realise that the property is Grade listed but this is internal upkeep and maintenance. Otherwise I did like the property very much and really liked the location. It was nicely furnished with furniture of the age and was very pleasant. The kitchen was kitted out very well with pots and pans, cutlery, etc. I didn't cook much because I could not get any ventilation in the kitchen. I couldn't find any switches for the hood above the stove, and the documentation was for the cooktop only. There was none for the hood. I lived in the UK for 30 years and was a homeowner and am pretty good on appliances. I reported the sink tap constantly leaking and it was fixed. Also the dishwasher smelled very bad and the maintenance guy came and ran some cleaner through it. I don't think he used a hot enough temperature because it didn't solve the problem and the plastic bottle had not been used, so I ran it through again at the hottest temperature and this time it worked. I tried texting him to tell him it had not worked but I think my texts were blocked as he never replied.I did really enjoy my stay and I left the flat in a clean condition.

Great location in Bath

We enjoyed our week at this apartment in Bath. The location is perfect--close enough to the town center to get to many restaurants and attractions and not so close to be noisy. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, charming decor befitting a Bath location. Would happily stay here again.

Great location on Bath

This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Super clean, elegant yet comfortable and has everything we needed. The location is perfect- close to the center of Bath, but on a quiet street. Great communication with the host and easy check in and out. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing apartment in Bath

The booking was really easy, communication prior to our stay couldn’t have been better. Check in was smooth. The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. Nice touch of milk and wine in the fridge and complimentary biscuits and chocolate.

Lovely flat

We loved this flat - great location, close proximity to all the sights. It is above a restaurant dining room so you will hear the ambient noise when in the living room area and the odd noisy customer leaving which didn't bother. There was a party/music from a nearby property until 4am but all other nights were fine and it is a quiet, residential street. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with lovely touches such as treats in the kitchen and bathroom toiletries. The bed is a small double, as advertised, and we did struggle a bit but this was very clear in the listing. Great communication, very helpful staff - would recommend this property and the rental company!

Child free getaway

Great couple of days on Bath. The property was in great location to access the places of interest, shopping and great restaurants and bars. The apartment was spotless clean, great welcome pack on arrival and attention to detail was clear on both information in the apartment and online details.? The App and recommendations for places to eat was really useful and answered any questions we had. We will definitely use this location again if we plan a return trip.

The apartment was exactly as described and shown online. Sara was excellent to communicate with and met us at the property as scheduled. The location couldn't have been better...quiet but very easy walking distance to the shopping/restaurant/river scenes. What a beautiful city...like stepping back in time. We had an exceptional time and would come back and stay again if given the chance.

Perfect location!

Fantastic little place, perfectly located right beside Assembly Rooms and a few blocks from City Centre. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer was a treat after a week of travelling. Only slight drawback was the bed - a very small double and quite firm. I slept fine but my husband found the couch more comfortable (honest,I didn't kick him out!). As long as double bed works for you, I highly recommend this apartment. And Bath is a beautiful city. Alexa has a great guide to local area and restaurants. Welcome package of basics (tea, coffee, cereal, milk) was a very thoughtful touch.
