A Perfect Coastal Escape at Hotel Bethany Beach 🌊 From the moment we arrived, Hotel Bethany Beach delivered everything you’d want from a beachside getaway. Just blocks from the ocean, the location is unbeatable—The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully equipped with cozy touches like a microwave, fridge, and flatscreen TV. Bonus points for the fresh cookies at check-in and the complimentary breakfast that actually hit the spot. We loved the little perks—welcome cocktails in the fridge and discounts at nearby restaurants. It’s clear this place was designed by beach lovers for beach lovers. If you’re looking for a laid-back, family-friendly stay with just the right amount of charm, Hotel Bethany Beach is a solid pick.

I chose this hotel bc the photos showed that this is a resort on the beach. Turns out the photos are of the sister property. I am paying 500 per night for what looks like a holiday in off the highway. Just really poor value for the money and extremely misleading if not downright dishonest advertising. The pool is a tiny home pool surrounded by chain link fence and they charge you 15 per towel. Will never book here again. Feel completely hoodwinked. This is not a resort - that would be a laughable description.

A woderful experience! Nice comfortable room, short walk to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach chairs with umbrella and 10% discount at Mickeys Crab House was such an awesome bonus! Thank you so much!❤️

We liked the location of the hotel and that it is dog friendly. Our room was nice but there were long hairs on the bathroom walls. Also $25/ night for parking is a little too much in my opinion. The breakfast was pretty good.

Decent Despite the hotel’s convenient location and a decent pool, my overall stay was deeply disappointing and frustrating. Right off the bat, the added fees felt excessive and misleading. A $25 nightly parking surcharge and a $25 daily housecleaning fee (if you wanted the service) left me feeling like the hotel was more interested in squeezing guests for every dollar than providing a quality experience. The room itself had an adjoining door to the neighboring unit, which made it nearly impossible to relax. You could hear everything from the next room—loud barking dog, TV noise, full conversations, and even more intimate moments. It completely undermined any sense of privacy or comfort. To make matters worse, getting extra towels required a trip to the front desk instead of a simple call or in-room service. For a hotel at this price point, that level of service is well below expectations. In short, while the location and pool were good and the staff friendly, I felt the fees, poor sound insulation, and lack of basic conveniences made this a stay I won’t be repeating. I would not recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning.

Was very pleased with our stay! The hotel is such a great little gem, and staff was friendly. The room was kept very clean, as well as the lobby and hallways. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here. Room is large, clean and comfortable. Janis, at the desk was welcoming and helpful. There are some nice extras including an umbrella and chairs, waiting for you on the beach. Walk to the beach or a bit longer to the village. You could manage here without a car.

Loved that it was walkable to the beach and got free passes for chairs and umbrellas, 10% off mickeys crab, two cocktail drinks in room and free mini golf voucher. Great pool too!

You could not beat the location! Easy walk to the beach and mini golf in your backyard. The pool was clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! There were a few extra perks they pointed out which we took full advantage of. The only drawback was that there wasn’t daily housekeeping but we were only there for a few nights and picked up after ourselves. I appreciated that there was a fridge to keep drinks cold and microwave just in case you wanted to heat up a snack. We would definitely plan to return in the future!

The property and the staff were nice. I did not however like that the bathtub had floor stickers in it, didnt seem sanitary. I am not sure if all tubs had them or if a guest placed them there but you could see the dirt gathered around and under them. I also enjoy that they are flexible after check out for guest to use the outdoor showers to rinse off after visiting the beach on our last day.
