“We came in to deal with some family business in the area and decided to stay at Doug & Mimi's cabin. They were very accommodating, as our flights were all late. They have a very clean and accessible cabin. It's far enough to get some glorious views (sunset and star) and close enough to be in town quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some solitude, but amenities near by. Doug and Mimi were awesome, informative and hospitable. First class host!”

“What a delightful and memorable stay we had! The warmth was highlighted by the unique decor! We watched deer, wild turkeys and bald eagles right from the deck! Such a beautiful setting for this little piece of paradise! The host and hostess were welcoming and responsive! “My spouse and I stayed at this location for two days. I do think the pictures are very accurate. It is a cute getaway. The only thing I would note is that it very much smells like a old shed/bar, which it is a renovated shed. I wouldn’t suggest this place is you struggle with allergies. Other than that, it’s adorable and the host was accommodating.”

“This place has all you need and more. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the smaller end of the lake. The home is spit-spot, well stocked and furnished. The bed is super comfortable and even the fold-out was a nice memory foam mattress. We couldn't get enough of the view from the deck, the great stargazing and swimming off the private dock. Worth every penny and then some!”

“We rented this property for a birthday getaway. The host picks you up in a pontoon boat and shuttles you over, she was very nice and helped us load and unload everything including my toddler. The weather was great, the slide and kayaks were utilized and everyone had a blast. The kitchen was fully stocked with most cooking things you could ask for. The main bedroom's bed frame may need fixing, perhaps the previous guests broke it during their stay. Otherwise everything was great!”
