“We reserved the Santorini cottage but the owners asked us to upgrade to the sprawling 4BR 4BA home. It was lovely! The land is so peaceful and the condition of the house was perfect. Very well-equipped kitchen. I can only assume that the smaller cottage was as nice as the big home on the same land. Both had fenced yards for dogs which our dog thoroughly enjoyed.”

My children are 10 and 14 and the highlight of their trip was checking for eggs each day. The chickens provided so much entertainment during our stay and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs each morning. “We stayed here for an extended weekend for the UNC graduation. Perfect location, close enough to Chapel Hill but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Grocery stores & restaurants close by along with state parks. The listing is very accurate. The fenced back yard is secure & large. Lots of space inside & out! We saw deer every day. The host was very responsive to our few questions, check in & out was easy. The host was very generous in stocking the house: toilet paper, paper towels, more than……

“The hosts were very easy to work with, and the house was in great condition. Very nicely decorated, modern, had all the necessities. The neighborhood--the street and nearby commercial district--are definitely in transition and not ideal for walking. We felt uncomfortable taking our dogs out, even as people who have lived in NYC/Chicago during the 80s :-). While it might feel different to people who are from the area or live on the street, it's a hard place to land for visitors.”
