“We really enjoyed our 1 week stay from 17-24 Aug at this property. The listing info and pictures were an accurate reflection on what we saw and experienced, and the focal point we dealt with on the booking was fantastic in keeping us up to date and informed with useful info. A very nice property with stunning views of the sunsets on Lake Huron, and the city of Bayfield was an excellent place to relax and get into vacation mode. We would highly recommend this property. ”

“The Stonewood was beautiful located in quite bayfield nestled in the trees it’s a stones throw from town and a quick ride to Goderich and Grand Bend. The Stonewood with it’s impressive size has ample room for a large family or a group of friends with four bedrooms an ensuite with all for privacy and three bedrooms located on one end ensure quite and privacy at night . Beautiful place to stay with a lot to do on and off the property.”

“We were a family of 4 and really enjoyed the cottage. It's a basic place but had everything we needed. The location can't be beat. It's on the south side of Grand Bend and a 5 minute walk to the south Grand Bend beach, which I think is better than the main beach. It's just as nice, with no restrictions and less crowded. The main beach is 15min walk (or 4 minute drive) so it is also close. Great place to stay!”

“My friends and I had an amazing time at the property Tyler! Thank you for the fast communication. The place itself was really nice, clean and updated with ample sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils etc. It really felt like a home away from home. “Overall, our family had a nice time in the area. The cottage is close to Bayfield and in a quiet neighborhood. We did have a few issues during our stay, but they were addressed quickly by the host. I do not believe in giving blanket 5/5 stars, as I don't believe that helps future guests of the platform. If you are looking for a large cottage with fenced in backyard, this is suitable. However, we decided to go with 4/5 stars as the cottage has lots of wear and tear and access to the beach is...

“This was a great stay. The house was clean and spacious. The outdoor shower was a cute feature. I would only suggest a fridge or a freezer for food space, but otherwise, we had an amazing time.”

“Great place/ property to hang out with my family. The cabin was very cosy and had very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and there were so many nostalgic games to play. Had a very large private yard with a gazebo. It was a fun place and close to lot of things to do in town.”
