“It was 6 min walking distance from train station and close to ferry station. When we came in the gas stove was turned on and the bathroom door wouldn’t close, my 12 year old son was not happy about not having privacy to use the bathroom. I sent a message stating this and it wasn’t answered. The pictures of the property must have been professional pictures because the pictures give the impression of a nice updated property and it’s not updated. It had a kitchen but a very small amount of dish……

“We arrived to Zermatt early and tried to leave our luggage’s so we can hike early but it wasn’t clear where the drop off. Tried to phone supplier at the Expedia portal and phone number wasn’t working when tried to call for help to check in. We walked to the the nearest lockers so we can may use the company to store our luggage and it wasn’t open yet. They advise to go back and ask the hotel accross the street. Walked back again, about 10 min walk. That worked out but after wasting over 1.5……

“We had the perfect 2-night stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding and staff kept the breakfast buffet spread constantly topped up with a large variety of food. It was a delightful surprise when we were upgraded to a room with the Matterhorn view. The only regret was that our stay was too short to try out the pool facility. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at Zermatt city centre near the train station.”

“Pros: Das schmucke und sehr saubere Häuschen entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es ist sehr schön gelegen in einem kleinen Ortsteil von San Bernardino, nur wenige Kilometer oberhalb des Sees. Von hier aus erreicht man zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit. Sollte man mit Hund reisen empfiehlt sich ein Besuch des Hundestrandes am Lago di Mergozzo, nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das absolute Highlight waren jedoch die tollen Gastgeber.
