“This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. We always come home refreshed! Abby is a gracious host who provides an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning this Fall.”

“Having Family in Chama we have always stayed with family. This year we tried something different and rented a cabin. This cabin was beautiful and it made our stay more authentic. It had the perfect amount of beds for everyone with us and it was equipped with everything we needed. The host Gail was very responsive and helpful when questions were asked.The only issues were the water would pulsate as if the well was low on water and the microwave had a small crack in it but it did not make any……

“Encanto House was a quiet little place to stay near the Cumbres/Toltec train station. It was walking distance. The little house was clean and had most of the comforts we needed to enjoy our short visit to this beautiful town. Bed was comfy and the coffee was strong. Owners were easy to communicate with. Peaceful stay. ”
