This property is not located on the water. However, it is located just out side of the town of Cable. This is a perfect property if you are come to the area for a short period of time. There is plenty of parking and a large field in back to walk your pets. It is only minutes away from hiking, biking, skiing, and atving trails. It is the perfect location if you have hired a fishing guide in the area and you just need place to stay for a few nights because you will be out fishing the rest of your stay. There is also only a 2 day minimum stay even during the busy season – you don’t have to worry about booking the entire week. He was polite for the most part, but told us it would take an hour for him to clean the property before we could check in. This "lodge" is right next to a boat repair place and Highway 63\. It was likely a business they converted. It's not quiet and there's very little privacy in the main area due to the full glass doors. It seems to be an office building they converted. We left for an hour and came back. It still wasn't cleaned. The owner showed up, and was polite, but it was two hours before we could actually check in and use the property. The place was full of ants. Almost every room had them. It was gross. I definitely had a few crawl on me while watching TV. There's also a self serve bait shop on the back of the property they failed to mention. Overall, it was fine, but having to wait an extra two hours to check in after a five hour drive and finding someone in the property was a really poor start to our weekend.
