“This property is absolutely gorgeous! Of course we were sad that the drought has dried the lake in front of the cabins but it's all around you. We saw deer, rabbit, fox, raccoon and birds everywhere. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated! We had everything we needed. We spent 5 days and will definitely be back! This will be a favorite for us. I forgot the wild berries and there are hammocks between many of the Cypress trees.”

“The house is in excellent condition with the usual amenities plus a hot tub and multiple tv’s. We were a short walk or drive to the lake. Deer roamed the area and some of us were lucky enough to see a fox. No bad surprises as some rental homes have. We’re happy we chose this house.”

“House was clean and just what we needed for an entire stay throughout Summer! No smoke smell in house at all. Neighborhood quiet and felt very safe with lots of deer. It was close to the lake and Brookshire’s grocery store which has live music on weekends too. Owners very nice and even watched our 2 dogs for us when we had to leave (for a reasonable fee) which was awesome! Owners very rarely on site and non intrusive at all. We even got to know our friendly summer neighbors! We are a family of 4……

“Little Firefly is a very cute property in a nice quiet neighborhood! It is located close to town but in a lovely area that is very relaxing. Marie and Jimmy were great to work with and very responsive to us when we messaged them. The property could benefit from some sprucing up but all and all was a very nice place to stay.”

“From the horrible road to get to the property to the house not having internet (which we need for our business) or the water that smelled like sulphur, it was a big disappointment. The host Marilyn was very nice and communicated well, but the cottage is not worth the price they are asking. I couldn’t bathe, brush my teeth or even turn the water on because it smelled so bad. The property was cute but kind of dumpy and could use a deep clean. Won’t be going back.”
