I honestly do not have a bad word to say. The house is just stunning, with everything you could possibly need and more. There were 6 of us staying and it was more than big enough for us all. Easy stroll into the city center took 5 to 10 minutes (all flat). Literally just around the corner from the Castle. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Cardiff and Rob the owner iis a absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing us too much trouble. This property deserves a 10 ⭐️ rating.

Excellent location with all the facilities we needed. The availability of guaranteed parking was brilliant and the property is ideal for an event at the Principality Stadium.

Cardiff city break.

This property was just as described. It was well furnished and equipped and had a lovely garden. It was also spotlessly clean. Our host couldn't have been more helpful. My 3 friends and I had a lovely time and would highly recommend this property. It is also within easy walking distance of the town centre, eating places etc.

Delightful space in great location.

This was a very convenient space close to the castle area. Didn’t have to drive anywhere. Close enough to walk to everything.

Faultless

Very well presented, felt like a hotel stay! Stunning interiors, well thought out amenities. Stayed as a group of 6 adults visiting the principality stadium - plenty of space, all very comfortable. Everything was communicated clearly from booking - Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing

This was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding. So clean!! Great location! Great communication! If we return to Wales we would definitely book again. We highly recommend it!

Great stay

The property is beautifully placed for walking into Cardiff city centre. It is a well maintained house so expense has been spared fitting it out. We had a great weeks holiday visiting my grandson who is at university there. My only draw back was if you have a walking disability there is no downstairs toilet but there are three upstairs. Would recommend the property to anybody

Amazing Place

It was absolutely a pleasure to stop at this divine house. What a wonderful experience of Cardiff myself and my friends had with the city centre just a short walk away and taxi availability at any time. I would highly recommend this property to anybody.

Lovely

Perfect location , comfy and cosy for our party of 6 friends. We made great use of the log burner and appreciated the generous log supply. We loved it and would come back for a winter or summer break.

We spent New Year in Pontcanna and really enjoyed the house, it’s tasteful decoration and it’s close proximity to the city. Lovely house, well decorated in a leafy suburb of Cardiff.

Wonderful property

The house was exactly as anticipated and did not disappoint in any way - it was the perfect “wedding house” for our daughter and her bridesmaids the night before her wedding, and for us to retreat to afterwards. Tastefully decorated throughout ( which made for great wedding photos) and fully equipped with everything you could need.

Perfect Location in Cardiff

Rob was so very easy to work with. He knew we are all hikers so he suggested a couple beautiful hikes in the area. Our instructions for check-in were very clear and easy. And the house was immaculate, beautifully updated, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The natural light in the house is just beautiful, even on a dreary day. With 4 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining room, large living room, and a large, comfortable outdoor space, there was plenty of room for all 5 adults to gather or just relax in the privacy of our own space. Since we didn't have a car (although there is space for a car), the townhouse is walking distance to the Cardiff Castle, Sophia's Garden, The Queen's Arcade, and The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus as well as many dining options. We highly recommend the Pontcanna Townhouse as the perfect place for family or friends to stay while visiting Cardiff.

Ideally situated for many reasons. Pontcanna.

We were thrilled with this property for our weekend. It was a special time for us as our son was getting married in Cardiff at St Fagans - relatively near - and suited us in every way. We didn't have time to visit the city but it was a very short walk to the shops and the train station. The decor was lovely, we were not short of anything, the beds were superb, very very comfortable. Shame we did not have time to appreciate the private little sun trap on a garden, actually not so little. There was everything we needed in the cupboards should we be intending to cook but we didn't. We used the wonderful Breakfast cafe., Kin & Ilk - daft name but must mean something to someone - just at the end of the road and out for the rest of the meals. Cant recommend enough. Garage for two cars and also one parking space for a third car, we had three cars . For winter there is a wood burner stove and very comfy seating for cosy nights in .4 excellent bedrooms, three doubles and a single. Perfect.

The Perfect Setting for the morning of our my wedding!

Hamilton Street was the house of dreams for my bridal preparations! Rob was so accommodating and communicative in the lead up to the weekend. The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully furnished and equipped with anything you could think of! The beautiful house and gardens provided the perfect back drop to our bridal prep photos and the copper Bath definitely steals the show! Would recommend to anyone!

Fabulous house with great amenities

A perfect place for Cardiff centre attractions

Six of us stated for three nights and found Riverside great for visiting the Castle, the Stadium , the Museum and all the shops in the centre of Cardiff. The free parking was a plus.

Beautiful place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The townhouse is nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and in a great location. My only suggestion would be a handrail on the basement stairs. They are steep and a handrail would be a good safety feature.

Fabulous rental

We visited Pontcanna Townhouse 1st to 4th Sept 2018 and wow were we impressed, the pictures don't lie. I visited with my 84 year old Mum and my 2 sisters, there was everything you could possible need and more. Beautiful garden too in a quiet location but within easy reach of the town centre and surrounding area. Communication from Rob was first class, we would go back tomorrow, loved it.

Lovely, clean modern home in a great location.

We were very happy with our experience at the Pontcanna Townhouse. The home itself was tastefully modern and included many nice amenities. We appreciated all the clear instructions about accessing and maintaining the house. It was in a great location. We were able to walk just a couple of blocks to many cafe’s and restaurants and it was in a reasonable walking distance to the park and castle where we caught the hop on / hop off bus.
