“Great location in the centre of Knaresborough. Very helpful to have plenty of onsite parking. Comfortable bedroom. Very attractive and welcoming communal sitting room. Outstanding breakfast - wide variety of hot and cold dishes. ”

“Comfortable stay in all. Room and amenities exceeded expectations. Note for those wanting to park, the car park is small. It’s understandable that this fills up, fortunately the convention centre opposite has affordable parking. Will stay again when visiting friends and family in Harrogate. ”

“A beautifully charming quiet property with equally charming owners. With a peaceful walled garden, off-street parking, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and a DVD/ Book library to lounge in with a furry friend. A short drive to York or York Park & Ride, and many Michelin pubs in the area. I very much liked this place, and I will return.”

“We stayed for 1 night in a family room, the pub is conveniently situated just off the market place. All of the staff that we encountered were lovely and were very helpful. I asked if we could check in early as we had a booking at Forbidden Corner and the gentleman was more than happy to accommodate this request. “We had a very nice 4 day stay to attend a trade show. It couldn’t have been much closer which was great, and close to all the nice restaurants. There’s 1 parking space available which is ideal as parking in the town centre can be difficult. I’d def stay again.”

“Very nice welcome and hosts were very helpful. Luxurious room and bathroom. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts with great choice for made to order breakfast. The property sits in large and well laid out grounds. Dinner was also available. Would thoroughly recommend you stay here.”
