First thing I noticed entering the room. Multiple flies in the room. I killed several and in the morning noticed more on the walls. We went back to let him know and he said oh yeah the girls didn’t clean the rooms. There were people outside until 3am with loud music outside of our room. Room seemed clean until we found a comb under the bed. Beds were very comfortable which I liked considering most motel beds aren’t. We had children with us. It was clean from the moment we checked in the man running the front desk, I guess the owner, was very off. The vibe from the moment I checked in was uncomfortable. But we tried to tough it out being that we only needed to sleep and wake up to head back to the field. We took the kids to the pool right after arriving. The guy was staring at us the whole time. Giving off the idea he really didn’t want us in the pool. It was to the point the children were asking why he was watching them like that. We walked back to the room and loaded everything up. The room was smelly and unclean. The entire vibe from this place was unsettling. I contacted the third party company who advertised this place and they couldn’t help get money back. When checking out the man was very rude. Asking me when checking out “who are you afraid of?”. We drove 45 mins away and paid again for a new room. It wasn’t worth the what ifs.
