I wish I could comment on my stay but there was not one. I contacted the property owner the day before we were scheduled to arrive to see when I would obtain the access code to the property. The owner replied rather quickly and stated that due to security reasons, I would receive the code the day I was to arrive. I found that different since I have always gotten the access codes to other properties I rented days in advance. Those codes would only work during a specific rental period so there were no issues with receiving them early. I accepted that I would receive the code the day of arrival since the owner replied quickly. We went to the property two hours before the scheduled check-in time to ensure that we could find it. I sent the property owner a message stating that we were looking forward to our stay. After lunch, we headed to the property again, and again I sent the owner a message stating that we were five minutes away; no reply. We sat outside the property, and I rang the doorbell several times and called MULTIPLE times; no reply/no answer. After an hour, we contacted Vrbo and they quickly tried to contact the property owner and the property owner did not answer their calls. Vrbo immediately started the process of finding us a place. We went from having a 4-bedroom, house to having 3 hotel rooms, on 3 different floors. Not to mention that we missed dinner and half of the ballgame we had paid for. Vrbo support was great!
