Great place to stay enroute to a surgery in Vancouver . Would not be able to stay on an upper floor after foot surgery as there was no elevator and many steel stairs Up . Was very clean and quiet ! Staff very friendly and accommodating .

We booked and dropped in late after catching a ferry from Victoria. The room was clean and much better than 2 stars. Will stay here more often when visiting the Island from Calgary and it sure beats Vancouver for convenience price and cleanliness. The people at the Westin should visit this little property to see a real Motel. Thanks. PS great breakfast cafe next door and we could sit on the patio with our dog. Awesome cappuccino.

Most features of the recent upgrade are splendid, e.g. excellent design, comfortable (King) bed, lovely shower and large bath towels, but some items are incomplete of forgotten. The room accommodates 2 people but there is only one chair (at the desk) and no table. This in a room with a kitchenette! The balcony has a single chair and table, which we were forced to bring inside when we had a meal at the motel.

I stayed for six nights. Hotel is very centrally located close to everything. Biggest surprise was that the bed was probably the best I have ever slept on, The motel is a work in progress as the new owners are completely renovating it. New bed, appliances, TV, floors, bathroom, etc. Construction is finished. Still room for more finishing. I'll come back!

The gem of Hope: this motel is clean, fully and nicely renovated. The layout of the room was perfectly organized to make spacious and comfortable. This was the best value for my money so far in western Canada. I highly recommed this place.
