As you pull down the Lane to Sand Penny, you’re already dreaming of time spent at Assateague National Seashore, just a short drive away. Whether you enjoy searching for our famous Wild Ponies, Beach Combing, or just chillaxing, we have one of the most gorgeous beaches in our country. Did you know that Assateague National Seashore is the most visited National Park in our country? Spend a little time here and you will discover why this is.....

Sand Penny offers plenty of Parking, and a great shaded Picnic Area right under the house - take in Views of the Chincoteague Bay while enjoying some Fresh Local Crabs or our world famous Oysters (arsters, as you’ll hear us Locals call them). Kick off your flip flops in the spacious Foyer, and let the fun begin!

The Living Area is the perfect place to kick back and spend time together after a fun-filled day exploring our Little Island by the Sea. Sink into the overstuffed, comfy furnishings and stream your favorite movie, or slip out to the Balcony to enjoy the Views of the Chincoteague Bay. Sand Penny also has a brand new Screened Porch! Curl up with a good book and take in that salty, sweet bay breeze.

Speaking of bay breezes, the Well-Stocked Kitchen at Sand Penny will make mealtime just that - a breeze! With Stainless Appliances, Warm Wood Cabinetry, and tons of space, you have all the comforts at home. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach, or family meals in the Dining Area. Not one to cook on Vacation? No worries - many awesome Dining options are just down the street. There is also a convenient Half Bath just off the Living Area.

This adorable Home sleeps 8 in pure comfort in 3 Bedrooms, plus a Sleeper Sofa in the Living Area. Wandering upstairs, you’ll find all Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, and the Laundry Area - it doesn’t get more convenient than that!

The Master Bedroom has a luxurious King Bed, rich Furnishings, and Flat Screen Streaming TV. With Private Balcony Access on the Bayside, you can slip out to watch Herons and Egrets fish for their morning meal, or stargaze at night while everyone else slumbers. The Private Master Bath has a Double Vanity and Tub/Shower Combo.

Down the Hall, Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed and oozes Coastal Country Charm. Bedroom 3 is adorned in rich red and has 2 Twin Beds. The spacious layout of Sand Penny gives everyone a little peace and privacy. Bath 2 also has a Tub/Shower Combo and is shared.
