"Although this is a hotel, its more of a restaurant with rooms now. So it was quite noisy and busy in the evenings, with live music on one evening. However the music/bar closes promptly at a reasonable hour so not a huge problem. The staff are lovely and the restaurant food was fabulous. So much so that we ate far too much...It sits on the cliff top and we were able to hear the waves crashing overnight to lull us too sleep, not our first stay and wont be the last. "

"Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water."

"Beautiful setting and I liked completely person free check-in so didn't have to worry about arriving very late. ( Did have to phone earlier for code because Expedia hadn't sent the email with the code). My economy single room had the A35 just outside - so quite noisy particularly since motorway closed for road works and lots of diverted traffic. To be fair, the details did say it was road facing I just didn’t realise quite how close the road would be. "
