“When I arrived, we found the property needed some upgrading, some items in the kitchen were dirty, the baking trays in the oven, one was rusty, the couch upstairs had dirt under the cushions, I asked the owner to clean it and the oven tray, but we actually clesned the kitchen ourselves. There were lighbulbs out,in the bathroom the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. The property was unkempt in general. It should have been spotlessly clean. Also therevwas a damp musty smell in 2 of the……

“The location is exceptional as it is in town and wonderful views. The house is very clean and lots of room. This would be perfect for a family or group of golfers. The property manager was helpful with the washing machine. It is not luxury, it is a little more spartan but charming. I would definitely come back.”

Stunning Stables Cottage in East Lothian Country Estate
North Berwick
9.2 分，总分 10，非常棒，（13 条点评）
“Property was tidy, simple and fairly straightforward in terms of settling in. Once we figured out the heating - no instructions - we got the place warm. An excellent wood burner really made the lounge - plus bringing in two bedside lights for ambient lighting - and was generously supplied with kindling and wood. The walks around the property and up into the woods were ideal for dog walks. The kitchen was pleasant, functional and suitably kitted out, although the fluorescent striplighting was……

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut and the views were amazing. The only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack providing instruction on how things worked. There was also no telephone contact details in case of any issues, etc. When we arrived there was not hot water and it was only by trial and error that we managed to find out that the gas bottle was empty, luckily the other bottle was full and I was aware how to manually change them over. We did send messages asking for……

“Plenty of space, more even than we realized! Very clean, mostly well equipped except no corkscrew.... Worked well for our holiday with two families. Could see the beach from the windows, and a quick walk to all the shops in town. We were thrilled with the location! Host very responsive. A little trouble with the sink, faucet loose and sometimes sprayed out if water flow strong, so be prepared....”
