“I’m a bit reluctant to leave this review based on previous reviews that were less than a rating of 10. The owner’s attitude seemed to be, “everyone else loved it so it must be a ‘you’ problem.” This property has such great potential but it seems neglected and some areas are rough around the edges, such as missing trim in some areas of the bathroom . A good deep-cleaning would go a long way.- microwave had crud along the back edge- dust bunnies along the walls in the loft - the console table with……

“This property is amazing! It is a nice private location while still being within an easy drive to plenty of activities. The building itself is new and clean, and thoughtfully designed and decorated. There's even a sauna which was very nice to end the evenings in! The hosts themselves were thoughtful, responsive, and considerate. My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and it was everything we wanted in a location. It was just us so we didn't need any of the loft rooms but……

“We had a wonderful stay. Donna(host) was always available for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean. We were able to watch the Michigan football game on this huge flatscreen TV! The bath towels were fine quality and we had plenty for our stay. Large shower convenient for handicap use. Kitchen was well stocked. This property is located on Sand Lake in Harrison, Michigan. The one very minor item I would suggest is to space the recliner a tad further away from the bed to allow a wheelchair……

“Our family loved this space. We were there for our Father’s funeral. The kids loved the upstairs space. Clean and tidy, everything we needed in the kitchen. Only downside are the doors in the rooms that share the patio did not close tightly and cold air was flowing into the rooms and they were quite cold. However, we will return. “Though the decor was nice the place didn't function well. The toilet gurgled, the kitchen sink drained extremely slow and the furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushion was so worn you didn't feel it, you felt the frame. The beds were hard. The fridge is small, like a dorm room fridge. From the post it seemed you were closer to the water than you are. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 knowing we wouldn't get a refund. We booked hoping to make it a fishing weekend so after……
