"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. "This little farmhouse is 100 years old and still had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and plenty of hot water. It gave us a taste of a life lived long ago. Views were beautiful and the town of Lucca was 20 minutes away by car. Shopping there is great. The farmhouse is remote, quiet, and in the middle of olive trees. "Set inside a visitor park, at first we were disappointed by the location. It is actually behind private property signs in its own area (better fencing and signage would improve it). It is quiet (especially during the week) and with gorgeous views. The pool is a few strides from the house, rather than attached, but is pleasant and unusual.
